Acne treatment

Kleresca® is a scientifically documented acne treatment that uses fluorescent light therapy to stimulate the skin's natural healing processes. This non-invasive treatment reduces inflammation, diminishes pimples and redness, and minimizes the risk of scarring. The treatment involves the application of a specially developed gel, which is activated under a multi-LED lamp for 9–12 minutes. The recommended treatment course consists of 6–12 weekly sessions, and results continue to improve for months after the treatment ends. Clinical experience shows that Kleresca® provides long-lasting improvements, with effects that can last up to a year.

What is Kleresca?

Kleresca® is scientifically documented and based on a unique light technology called photobiomodulation (PBM), inspired by the natural process of photosynthesis. The treatment uses a combination of gel and fluorescent light to stimulate the skin’s biological renewal processes. It is a gentle, pleasant treatment with high effectiveness.

When you lie down and the blue light from the lamp hits the gel, a process begins where the gel's special molecules (chromophores) convert the blue light from the lamp into fluorescent energy, which stimulates the skin’s renewal processes and stabilizes the skin’s microenvironment at the cellular level.

Kleresca® is available in three variants:

  • Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation

  • Kleresca® Acne

  • Kleresca® Rosacea

Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation is a skin-rejuvenating treatment designed to balance and renew skin cells. The treatment is suitable for most people looking to stimulate collagen in the skin, both preventively and as treatment. It is especially suitable for enlarged pores, fine lines, and scarring. Clinical studies have shown that Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation increases collagen production by approximately 400%.

Kleresca® Acne is specifically developed to treat acne conditions. It kills the bacteria caused by P. acnes and reduces inflammation in the skin. The treatment also helps reduce scarring through its collagen-stimulating effect.

Kleresca® Rosacea is developed specifically to treat rosacea symptoms and is intended for clients with rosacea who have very sensitive skin. The treatment reduces inflammation and redness and helps relieve the stinging and burning sensations associated with the condition.

Which areas can be treated?

All three variants of Kleresca® can be used on both the face and the body.

How does the treatment work?

You will wear protective goggles during the treatment. The skin is cleansed, and the Kleresca® gel is applied. The lamp emitting the fluorescent light is turned on and shines on the treated area for 9–12 minutes.

Afterwards, the gel is removed, and suitable skincare is applied depending on your skin type and condition.

You may experience redness for a few hours after treatment, which will subside. Older pigmentation spots may become more prominent in the days following treatment. We recommend avoiding sun exposure for 2 days after treatment and using SPF 50 as a regular part of your skincare routine.

What are the effects of the treatment?

Kleresca® Skin Rejuvenation We recommend one treatment per week for 4 weeks for optimal results. Because Kleresca® stimulates the skin’s biological processes at the cellular level, improvements will continue even after all four treatments are completed. There is evidence of increased collagen production for up to 6 months after the final treatment. The result is improved skin quality and structure, leaving the skin fresher and healthier.

Kleresca® Acne We recommend two treatments per week for 6 weeks. In severe cases, continue with one treatment per week for up to 12 sessions.

Visible improvements usually come as the deeper layers of the skin react. Most people may experience a temporary worsening of acne during the early stages of treatment, which is completely normal.

After the treatment series is completed, the skin continues to work, and you can expect further improvements for at least 6 months after the final treatment.

Kleresca® Rosacea We recommend one treatment per week for 4–6 weeks for optimal results. Kleresca® Rosacea improves not only visible symptoms such as redness, papules, and pustules but also the irritated and sensitive sensations in the affected areas. Blood circulation in the skin improves, and overall stress levels are reduced, promoting healing and improving skin quality. After the treatment series is completed, the skin continues to work, and you can expect further improvements for at least 6 months after the final treatment.

Who cannot receive the treatment?

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals

  • Those with relevant allergies

  • If you are taking medications that make your skin light-sensitive

  • If you have melasma in the area to be treated

Possible side effects?

Temporary minor side effects such as mild redness and slight swelling may occur. Older pigmentation may become more visible, but this is temporary. In acne treatments, acne may temporarily worsen before improving.
