What is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 is a treatment that combines radiofrequency and micro-needling.
Morpheus8 is an effective and potent method for treating sagging and sagging skin. The treatment also reduces wrinkles, pigment, blood vessels, acne and scars, as well as improving skin texture and visible pores in the skin. The treatment is based on a combination of micro needles and radio frequency, which work deep into the skin. Morpheus8 is a fractional skin treatment that stimulates collagen production in the underlying layers of the skin and tightens the skin. The result is increased firmness, volume and elasticity in the skin. The skin is tightened and smoothed with well-defined contours. Morpheus8 can also be used in selected areas to reduce fat deposits.
A typical course of treatment consists of approximately 3 treatments with an interval of 4-6 weeks.
What areas can be treated?
We treat with Morpheus8 on the face, neck and chest. We also treat on the body, e.g. stomach, inner thighs, knees and arms.
How is the treatment done?
60 minutes before the treatment itself, you will have a local anesthetic cream applied to the area to be treated.
The treatment itself lasts approximately 20-40 minutes (depending on the size of the area to be treated). The treatment is simple, safe and the anesthetic cream minimizes any discomfort. The treatment is not completely painless and treatment with morphine or anti-anxiety medication may be necessary (driving after medical treatment is not recommended and a companion is recommended to avoid falls). Your therapist places the Morheus8 applicator on your skin and performs passages on the skin. Twelve to 40 needles penetrate the skin tissue with each shot, which thus stimulates the skin, contracts the connective tissue and possibly coagulates the skin fat if the needles are long enough (3-7 mm deep). In the places where you benefit from your fat, only superficial needles are used, which spares fat reduction (1-2 mm). Thus, fat reduction on the face and neck is only performed in "hamster bags" and under the chin, unless otherwise agreed. On the body, it is agreed separately where the fat is to be reduced.
Avoid anti-inflammatory medication (rheumatoid medication) and other medications, including herbal remedies, that may increase bleeding tendencies 1 week before treatment .
It is important that you do not touch the treated area or apply any cream or the like for 12 hours after the treatment to prevent skin infection (the exception is fucidin).
You can apply makeup 12 hours after the treatment.
What is the effect of the treatment?
The treatment effect is individual, the looser the skin, the more treatments are needed to achieve a good effect. The effect of the treatments is usually good, and a year-long effect is expected. The first visible results will appear within a few days, but typically the most noticeable changes will appear after approx. 3 weeks. The improvements in the skin will continue for up to 6 months after a treatment.
It is recommended to maintain the treatment with Tight or FraxTight. It is important to agree on expectations before the treatment. Refunds for the treatment will not be made.

Possible side effects?
Downtime after a Morpheus8 treatment is minimal because the changes occur deep within the skin. You should expect the skin to be red, swollen, and areas of the skin to appear shiny for a period of 3-4 days after the treatment. During this period, it is also normal to experience small, flaky crusts and a slight peeling effect in the skin. This is due to the microlesions in the skin.
Some will experience temporary bruising. Scarring and burning of the skin are extremely rare. Most people are able to resume daily tasks the day after a Morpheus8 treatment. Rarely, marks are seen on the skin that can last for weeks. Likewise, white swellings that can be seen for a longer period of time.
Avoid vitamin A creams and peels for up to 1 week after treatment unless the creams and peels are prescribed as part of a treatment plan.
We always recommend using sunscreen both before and after the treatment with SPF 50+ including UVA and UVB filter.
