A typical treatment course consists of about 3 sessions spaced one week apart for optimal results.
Which areas can be treated?
We treat with Tight on all areas of the face and neck. We also treat body areas such as the abdomen, buttocks, knees, and arms. Tight can also be combined with fractional laser (see customer information FraxTight) for significant tightening and skin rejuvenation.
How does the treatment work?
Collagen is a heat-sensitive protein. Tight works by slowly heating the collagen in the skin to a sustained temperature of 41-43 degrees Celsius. At these temperatures, pain is rarely experienced. The device uses temperature sensors and feedback control to maintain the heat in the skin at precisely these temperatures.
The radiofrequency energy moves through electrodes into the skin, causing the heat-sensitive collagen to react. The body responds by producing new collagen to repair the skin. Most people experience a warming sensation during the typical 20-40 minute treatment and afterwards feel their skin is tighter and firmer. Tight treatments are generally painless and require no downtime.
