Vasculaze

Is a laser treatment that effectively treats a variety of vascular lesions, including varicose veins, angiomas (blood spots) and small capillaries on the legs. This method is particularly suitable for treating fine, superficial blood vessels that may not respond well to sclerotherapy. The treatment involves delivering short pulses of light to the targeted blood vessels, causing them to collapse and gradually disappear over several weeks. Vasculaze is ideal for areas such as the ankles, knees and feet, as well as delicate facial areas. While results are usually seen after a few weeks, multiple sessions may be necessary for optimal results. For extensive vascular problems, a combination of Vasculaze and sclerotherapy can increase the effectiveness of the treatment. A free consultation is recommended to assess individual needs and determine the most appropriate treatment plan.

Get rid of all types of varicose veins on the body, face and legs. Offered at the Aalborg clinic.

Many people resort to concealer and long pants because they are marked by their varicose veins. Fortunately, we have the solution. With Vasculaze, we can treat a variety of vascular lesions (also known as varicose veins), including spider veins, aginomas (blood spots) and veins on the legs.

What result can I expect?

The Vasculaze laser can treat both red and blue vessels and is especially good for sporadic thin vessels that cannot be treated with Sclerotherapy. The laser goes in and sends a shot into the vessel which gets a 'shock' and therefore contracts and withers. This is completely harmless and you will see a quick response to the shot. The effect typically comes after a few weeks.

To achieve a great result, and especially if you have many / large areas of broken blood vessels, you should often expect to have more than one treatment or consider a combination treatment with Sclerosis. The effect of the treatment is usually good, but can vary from person to person depending on location and cause.

The vessels you have had treated are broken down and will not come back. However, if you have a tendency to develop varicose veins, you should expect new ones to appear over time.

DermoCosmetics cosmetic nurses are specially trained and registered to perform Vasculaze treatments. This is your guarantee of the highest quality and safety in the treatment.

Before treatment

The winter months are the perfect time to start this treatment. However, the treatments can also be performed during much of the summer period, as long as SPF 50 is used and sunbathing is avoided.

The skin cannot be treated if it is clearly sun-pigmented, and it must not be colored by self-tanner or brown cream.

Treatment course

The Vasculaze laser can be used anywhere on the body but is ideal for areas that cannot be treated with Sclerotherapy. These include vessels on the ankles, knees and feet as well as small, thin "spider" vessels or if you are afraid of the needles used in Sclerotherapy.

The area being treated is illuminated with a flash of light lasting a few milliseconds, thereby heating the vessels. The damaged vessels will subsequently be removed by the body's repair systems, thereby achieving the desired effect. The effect typically occurs after weeks. Repeated treatments are often necessary at intervals of a few months (up to 3-5 times).

After the treatment, there will be redness and possibly bluish discoloration in some places, as well as slight bleeding under the skin. There may be varying degrees of swelling. These discomforts will disappear within a few days to a week.

The treatment is the most gentle and fastest treatment for varicose veins.

Vasculaze in combination with Sclerosis

Most of us have both larger and fine small vessels. Get the most optimal result with a combination of Vasculaze and Sclerosis. With the Vasculaze laser, we can go in and hit the smaller vessels, which can be difficult to hit with a needle during Sclerosis. The large vessels can be easily broken down with a sugar-containing injection.

However, we always recommend coming in for a free consultation, where we can assess your needs and create a treatment plan together.
