CONSULTATION, REFLECTION PERIOD AND FOLLOW-UP We always take the time to consult with you before starting any treatment, whether you are treated on the same day or only later according to the Danish Patient Safety Authority’s regulations (reflection period). A thorough guidance and dialogue before the cosmetic treatment is important, both for you and for us. Besides safety and high professional standards, quality for us also means thorough guidance, alignment of expectations, and honesty. Aligning expectations is a joint effort. As practitioners, we can assess which treatments will be most optimal for you to achieve the desired effect, so that your wishes and needs can be fulfilled. We often recommend taking a "cautious approach" and starting with the issue that matters most when you look at yourself in the mirror. Consultation and follow-up are free at Apex Aesthetics with some exceptions. The tattoo on Anders' face was previously attempted to be removed at another clinic, but the only result was large scars in the tattooed area, which are still clearly visible even though the color pigment has disappeared. After Anders undergoes one final tattoo removal with laser, the scars will be reduced with a different type of laser. The treatments are performed by specially trained nurses as well as IPL and laser therapists with experience in all aspects of aesthetic medicine. Apex Health & Aesthetics is a ‘Certified Restylane Clinic’. We are among the clinics in Denmark that perform the highest number of Restylane treatments. Our practitioners are the most experienced and have completed the highest Master level certification with Restylane. Our specialists have trained many other doctors and nurses in Restylane treatments and serve as international trainers for Restylane. This is your guarantee of quality, safety, and reassurance in the treatment. Apex Health & Aesthetics and our practitioners are registered with the Danish Patient Safety Authority. During inspections (most recently in 2016), all control points were met. Some treatments do not require registration with the Danish Patient Safety Authority, for example tattoo removal, fat freezing, dermaroller, and certain types of peeling. However, at Apex Health & Aesthetics, we apply the same internal standards for quality and safety — all practitioners are trained and perform these treatments under the supervision of our dermatologist.
